The Pebble Circle Studs by Emily Nixon – irregular and as if naturally formed, pebbles have been used as tools in the creative process, texturing the surface of these sea-worn earrings. Created by Emily in Cornwall and cast in recycled, refined sterling silver using the traditional lost wax process (with 9ct gold ear posts).

Constant experimentation, playfulness and development of ideas, alongside a mindfulness of the relationship each piece has with the wearer, drives Emily’s creative process and output. The dichotomy of the precious and the organic – special stones encircled by sea-worn fragments of gold – characterises so much of her inspiration. At the heart of Emily Nixon’s work remains the sculpture and tapestry of her early fine art practice.
