Returns & Exchanges Policy

At Tomfoolery Jewels, we want you to love your purchase. If you’re not completely satisfied, you may return eligible items under these terms:

1. Return Eligibility

  • Timeframe: 14 days from delivery date
  • Condition: Items must be unworn, undamaged, with all original tags and packaging
  • Proof of Purchase: Original order number required

2. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and customization reasons, we cannot accept returns of:
✖ Earrings (all types)
✖ Custom or engraved jewelry
✖ Sale/clearance items marked “Final Sale”
✖ Perfumes (UK law restriction)

3. Return Process

  1. Request Authorization:
  2. Package Items:
    • Use original packaging with protective padding
    • Include completed returns form
  3. Ship Your Return:
    • UK: Use tracked Royal Mail service (£3.50-£8 depending on value)
    • International: Customers cover return shipping (declare as “Returned Goods”)

4. Refunds

  • Processing Time: 5-7 business days after we receive your return
  • Method: Original payment card (7-10 days to appear in your account)
  • Deductions: Original shipping costs non-refundable

5. Exchanges

We offer:

  • Size exchanges for rings (one complimentary resize within standard sizes)
  • Store credit for non-refundable items (valid 12 months)

6. Damaged/Defective Items

If you receive a faulty product:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours via our Support Portal
  2. Provide photos/video of the defect
  3. We’ll cover return shipping and send a replacement

7. International Returns

  • Customers outside the UK:
    • Responsible for return shipping and customs fees
    • Must declare items as “Returned Goods” (value ≤£50)
    • Original shipping fees non-refundable
