All SCHERNING jewellery is made by hand in their workshops in Copenhagen and Portugal, featuring a collection of bold enamel and delicate porcelain . The enamel lacquer used to give the jewellery its beautiful and vibrant colour is carefully applied to each piece of jewellery twice. Their gold-plated jewellery is made from sterling silver, and then gold-plated with 22 carat gold. The work is done by hand and natural variations may occur between pieces.
